Jo Boaler, Professor of Mathematics Education at Stanford, stresses the importance of number sense development. Together, we will explore the why and how of Number Talks. We will frequently reference the book Number Talks: Helping Children Build Mental Math and Computation Strategies K-5th Grade by Sherry Parrish.
