This session is Virtual. The Regional area of Dawson, DeQueen Mena, Southwest, and South Central are teaming up to provide a Regional Family and Consumer Science CTE Professional Development. The PD will host a very important training for new and returning FACS teachers. Topics of discussion include: Perkins V, new programs of study, industry certifications, FCCLA, equipment requirements and the new standards for programs of study. Teachers will be given the opportunity to showcase projects within their local program area. Please bring the necessary materials to showcase your projects. During the afternoon, teachers will complete a local needs assessment and engage in virtual hands on cooking and flipped learning objectives. All FACS teachers are encouraged to attend this meeting. This is a regional Meeting and a Zoom link will be provided closer to time. Opportunity of hours is 6.
