Session 1: 3-Dimensional Scientific Inquiry
The first day will focus on the classroom. Teachers will gain a better understanding of 3-Dimensional instruction as they engage in scientific inquiry around authentic phenomena. Teachers will experience the Disciplinary Core Ideas, Science and Engineering Practices and the Crosscutting Concepts from the position of a student. Most importantly teachers attending will learn how to teach science by doing science.
Sessions will be virtual. Zoom links will be sent out with reminders closer to the session date. Teachers need to be able to attend both sessions. Seats are limited (25) and will go fast, so reserve your spot ASAP!
Biography: Paul Andersen is an educational consultant and YouTube creator living in Bozeman, MT. Paul is an experienced educator having taught science in Montana for 20 years.
