Session 2: Performance Assessments and 3-Dimensional Planning
The second day will focus on student evidence of learning. Teachers will view, screen, and improve exemplar performances assessments aligned to the new standards. Teachers will then use backward design to plan learning activities that will build to these assessments. Mini-lessons will be added as a tool for explicit instruction around conceptual thinking.
Sessions will be virtual. Zoom links will be sent out with reminders closer to the session date. Teachers need to be able to attend both sessions. Seats are limited (25) and will go fast, so reserve your spot ASAP!
