SCSC-Virtual Training: Microbit Coding Workshop



Many schools world-wide have started using micro:bits to teach computing as part of the push towards STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) education. Micro:bit is a versatile tool to introduce students to the world of coding as it can be used as a standalone with the many features onboard, such as LEDs, compass, accelerometer, bluetooth and more. This virtual training will teach you how to use the Micro:bit and integrate it into your classroom. You will receive a Micro:bit with this training.

Important Session Information:


This is a virtual workshop, you will need to pick up equipment prior to the training. Two devices are recommended. The zoom link will be sent to you in your escWorks confirmation email.

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks).
