DSC Reunite, Renew, and Thrive: Social Emotional Learning through Music



This session consists of 4 mini-sessions:
8:30-10:00 Learn about the basics of teaching Social Emotional Learning in your music classroom in collaboration with your standards.
10:00-11:30 FLIPGRID: Empower EVERY voice! Learn how to use Flipgrid in your classroom to empower students to use their voices and empower others through a collaborative online environment!
12:30-2:00 Music Buffet: I will share several tried and true lessons, and then we will break out to ""create your own"".
2:00-3:30 Survive & Thrive: Where Do We Go From Here? With all that the 2020-2021 school year brought us as music educators, we will look at ways to set your mind towards a new normal. Topics will include: recruitment, retention, creative process, and much more!
