AFESC--Recognize, RESPOND, and Report Child Abuse - Virtual Session

The Recognize, RESPOND, and Report Child Abuse training equips individuals
with tools and techniques that empower them to intervene and end the cycle of
abuse, while putting the needs of the child first. Our initial response to
suspected child maltreatment is critical for the child's safety and well-being.

Learn How To:
1. Recognize signs and symptoms of abuse and/or neglect.
2. RESPOND appropriately with our acronym to effectively gather
information in a non-leading and trauma-informed way.
3. Report any suspicion of child maltreatment to the Arkansas Child
Abuse Hotline.
This training will be virtual and is being provided by the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County.  They are an approved provider of continuing education and professional
development for the Arkansas Department of Education, Arkansas Professional Development Registry, and the Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training.

This session will meet the requirements for Child Maltreatment.
