GFESC Let’s Talk Math: Number Talks and Instructional Routines for K-2
In this session teachers will dive into the implementation of purposefully structured instructional and language routines to use in the math classroom. Teachers will learn about a variety of Number Talks and Routines that can be used to teach mathematics and also be given the opportunity to see how these routines support various mathematical content understandings, fact fluency, vocabulary development, flexible thinking in mathematics, and justification and explanation skills.
