SCSC-Inclusive Practices

The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Special Education Unit will provide information about inclusive and evidence-based practices in this full-day session. This training will provide educators with tools for increasing academic achievement and post-school success for all students, especially those with disabilities. Attendees will review their school's data, consider multiple service delivery methods, delve into CEC's High Leverage Practices for Inclusive Classrooms, and explore the Universal Design for Learning principles. Administrators, general educators, special educators, and counselors are encouraged to attend. Attendees are asked to bring either a laptop or tablet.

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
