GFESC Into the Outdoors: Hot Springs and Coleman Crystal Mine



Need some exciting Phenomena and content for your social studies, G/T, or science classroom?  Join us for a day of exploration at Coleman Crystal mine in Hot Springs followed by exploring the Hot Spring basin beginning at the Visitor Center and completing at the Arlington.  On your own visits to the Al Capone room or various museums located in the area.  We will begin at 9 AM at Coleman Crystal mine in Jessieville, visit the crystal mine and keep all you find followed by a tour of the rock shop.  Lunch at the Basin park in Hot Springs (bring your own lunch) and then proceed to the Hot Springs visitor center.  After the tour, you have free time to explore the museums and attractions.  Travel is on your own or with your school groups. Bring plenty of water and be prepared for Arkansas summer weather. GFESC and presenters are not responsible for accidents or injuries during the duration of the workshop or during travel to or from.
