The Arch Ford/Great Rivers Cooperatives' CTE Regional Stakeholders Meeting brings partners in Business, Industry, Economic Development, Post-Secondary and Career and Technical Education together to discuss employer expectations and the skills needed in today’s workforce. The morning will begin with an opening session with Dr. Michael Pakko, State Economic Forecaster at UALR’s Institute for Economic Advancement. Dr. Pakko will discuss the economic outlook for our state and share his perspective on job growth and opportunities, with an emphasis on what impact Covid-19 has had on our economy. After the opening session, Lori Mitchell, CTE Coordinator, will present on Perkins V and CTE relevant topics. This event will meet the DCTE requirements for one of the districts' advisory council meetings.
