GFESC Antecedent Based Interventions **VIRTUAL**

This interactive online module is an introduction to Antecedent Based Interventions (ABIs). ABIs are interventions that increase the likelihood of appropriate behaviors and/or decrease the likelihood of problem behaviors by changing events that occur before a behavior. Throughout this course, you will learn about several different ABIs including Visual Supports, Priming, Highly Preferred Materials, Offering Choices, Premack Principle, High Probability Requests and Noncontingent Reinforcement. Participants will be introduced to each ABI and learn how to implement each one with fidelity. This course may be completed at your own pace. Topics and quizzes must be completed to 100% in order to receive a certificate of completion. The course may be accessed through https://arbss.org/courses-2/. Participants registered through escWorks will have until 6/21/21 to complete the course for credit. After completion of the course, the participant should email the certificate (scanned or screenshot) to sandy.crawley@dawsonesc.com and credit will be given in escWorks. A follow-up Q & A Zoom meeting will be held on 6/22/21 from 9:00-10:00 am
