This workshop is catered to grades K-6, however all lessons can be adapted to any grade level. We will look
at the Gyotaku process using leaves, getting that color wheel project done in record time, and experimenting with Chinese
calligraphy while also applying crayon resist techniques with watercolor paint. As education professionals, reflection and
collaboration are distinguished practices! We will reflect on procedures, and discuss successful strategies regarding
virtual, and hybrid art lesson building! Please feel free to bring anything that you would like to share with your fellow art
teachers!
If you are not under contract with the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative or one of our 14 member districts, you will be responsible for all fees related to this workshop. The fee for this workshop is $25. Payment is expected the day of the training unless prior arrangements have been made.
