NWAESC(2246)---Tools for Teaching

Tools for Teaching describes the teaching practices of highly effective teachers – the “naturals.” Based on the work that Dr. Fred Jones has developed using research-based methods of group management that are extremely cost-effective – that free the teacher to focus on instruction rather than discipline. Advanced skills of classroom management can produce dramatic increases in student learning while reducing teacher stress. Participants will leave with a classroom management plan, proactive strategies they can implement their first days of school, and a copy of Dr. Jones book Tools for Teaching. Whether you are a new teacher looking to build a strong foundation or a veteran teacher looking for some new ideas, this session is for you! All costs are covered by the Recruitment and Retention grant.
