OUR Phenomenal Science Project Day 1
Students engage in science learning with greater interest when they are drawn into the experience with local and relevant scientific phenomena. In this session we will explore the Buffalo National River at Steel Creek and work to identify local phenomena that can be used in science instruction across the region. We will catalog and describe phenomena that will be uploaded to a public website for future use. The session will include hiking and all of the hazards and happiness typically associated with being outside in the Arkansas summer. Lunch is not provided, so pack some treats.
Participants will receive additional details about the agenda for the day after registration.
Audience: Grades K-12 teachers, Curriculum Specialists, G/T, Special Education, Instructional Facilitators, Administrators
