SCSC - School Board Member Training



This training will address such topics as How to read and interpret an Audit, Sample Audit Findings, and other specifics of the law.  This three-hour training partially meets the requirements of A.C.A. §6-13-629, which requires that all school board members with 12 or more months of service receive 6 hours of school board member training; the hours of which must be approved and certified by the A.D.E. All new board members with less than 12 months of service are required to complete 9 hours, one of which relates to audit interpretation.

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Consortium membership doesn't not cover board members. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training..
