SCSC - K-2 R.I.S.E. Academy Cohort 5

K-2 R.I.S.E. Academy is a year-long blended learning professional development. The training will provide educators with in-depth knowledge related to the science of reading, evidence-based instructional strategies, and making data-based decisions for ALL students. Participants will attend 6 days of face-to-face training (Fall-3 Days/Summer-3 Days) and expected to participate in a blended learning community throughout the year with coaching and collaboration. Required Texts : LETRS Foundations by Deborah Glaser and Louis Moats (FIRST 20 to register will receive this book FREE) Equipped for Reading Success by David Kilpatrick. (School will need to purchase this book for you.)

Important Session Information:

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
