NWAESC(2246)---Novice SPED Teachers PLC #4

SPED novices will further explore inclusive teaching strategies, data gathering resources and strategies, data management strategies and resources, collaborative teaching strategies, inclusive strategies, working with paraprofessionals and co-teachers. Attendees will review the six stages of teaching, actively reflect on classroom management and instructional strategies, fine-tune IEP meeting planning, goal writing and data management in preparation for testing and annual reviews. Novices will have the opportunity to further develop their Teacher Toolbox with instructional resources. Domain 1b,1c,1d,1e & 4a (Reflecting on Teaching). High-Leverages Practices in Special Education: Cooperative Learning/Collaboration High-Leverages Practices in Special Education Focus: Collaboration and Review of HLPs. Please bring your SPED Binder and BYOD. There is NO cost for this forum. Lunch is included. Year 3 SPED Novice Teachers will be recognized for PLC participation through the 3-year program. BYOD
