This is one day IM Refresher will support current k-5 Illustrative Math users in growing
deeper with with the Illustrative Math curriculum. Teachers will take a deeper look at the
scope and sequence, major work of the grade, and student assessment and engagement
opportunities! K-5 teachers will network to continue their work with the following focus
areas:
-Accelerated Learning - Supporting the Learning Gaps
-Establishing a Culture of Learning
-Efficient and Effective Lesson Planning - Addressing the “time” issue
-Student Engagement: Instructional Routines
-Assessing and Differentiating Instruction - RTI Tier 1/2 embedded differentiation
