GFESC SPED 101: The Essentials Part 4
SPED 101: THE ESSENTIALS PART 4 is the final training of the four-part training series which will be offered throughout the 2021-22 school year to provide novice special education teachers the professional development and support needed to ensure that all children with disabilities receive a free and appropriate education as outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Act.
LEARNING TARGETS:
Learning targets for SPED 101: THE ESSENTIALS PART 4 will include: 1. Writing Present Level of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) statements and 2. Writing SMART goals and objectives
***Content presented will apply to the basics of due process and will not address individual district processes and procedures. Participants will be directed to their individual LEA/Special Education Supervisor as the primary resource for application of due process according to individual district process and procedures. *Rescheduled from 2/17/22 due to Covid-19.
