Morning Session: This portion of the presentation include the following: basic testing terminology, procedures for administering formal/informal assessments, and guidelines for administering district-specific tests. Participants will be guided through the administration and scoring of the Comprehensive Test of Phonological Processing-2 and the Test of Word Reading Efficiency-2. Scoring instructions and several reporting formats will also be addressed. Participants will have opportunities to administer and score portions of these assessments.
Afternoon Session: Participants will review the administration guidelines of other frequently administered tests. The PAST will be included in this discussion. Participants will review several case histories for the purpose of discussing the following: a) grouping students, b) determining strengths and weaknesses, and c) general understanding of the results. Participants will have an opportunity for questions and discussions.
