GFESC Trauma-Informed Care: Supporting Students During Difficult Times (AM) Caring For Yourself and Others: A Trauma - Informed Approach to Self-Care (PM)



 AM Session; Training includes a deeper exploration of topics such as types of trauma, the impact of trauma on brain development, maintaining emotional safety during a crisis, and application of key concepts to real-life scenarios.

PM Session; Training explores self-care and how to support colleagues through a trauma-informed lens. Participants will review self-care and understand its importance in the context of a trauma-informed school. Participants will also be introduced to a framework for self-care for educators and will learn strategies for integrating self-care activities into routines at home and work.
