In the 1980’s Bert Waits and Frank Demana changed mathematics education with the “Power of Visualization”. Their vision is still alive and just as relevant today. Graphing technology allows students to investigate problems and connect mathematics. This session will explore functions and highlight how teachers can use graphing technology to support classroom ready activities to set the stage for students to understand the concept of functions, domain, range, graphs, and tables in high school math classes.
