SCSC - Desmos for Beginners



Desmos is an interactive math website with access to any type of calculator your students might wan to use. You can create lessons, experiences, or tasks for your students to learn and engage with math. They do this online while you, as the teacher, have access their progress and struggles. This training helps teachers who have little or no experience with what Desmos has to offer.  TESS Components addressed include:1E, 1F, 3B, 3C, 4A

Teresa Loveless will also be an instructor for this event. For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
