Dr. Steven Layne, author of Igniting a Passion for Reading: Successful Strategies for Building
Lifetime Readers, will lead this highly engaging session. This session will
address the problem of aliteracy, which includes students who can read but lack
the will or desire to voluntarily choose to read. Dr. Layne will provide
insights and strategies that will help teachers and school campuses to create a
culture of reading.
