DSC Assessing the Practice of Analyzing and Interpreting Data in the STEM Classroom
How can data analysis and interpretation be integrated into student centered, three dimensional STEM instruction? Where are some sources of data sets and data-gathering opportunities that can be used to support NGSS aligned units and lessons? How can we know if students are proficient in analyzing and interpreting data? This professional development session is focused on the art of teaching student analysis and interpretation of scientific data and assessing student performance of the practice. This session is in person on site at the Southwest Education Cooperative/Dawson Education Service Cooperative. (6 hours)
