NEA - CPR, AED, First Aid



The American Heart Association designed the Heartsaver courses to prepare Teachers, Early Childhood Specialists, Counselors, Administration, Paraprofessionals and the general public to provide CPR and AED use in a safe, timely and effective manner.   The learner will practice chest compressions, rescue breathing and the use of an AED trainer and will upon successful completion of the class, receive a CPR card good for a two year time period.  This course will also provide First Aid training and skills practice.   The Bleeding Control Basic Course is designed for individuals who have little or no medical training but who may be called up as immediate responders to provide initial trauma care and bleeding control to a victim of traumatic injury prior to the arrival of emergency medical services.
