NWAESC(2095)--Using the Science of Reading in the Secondary Classroom
What does the Science of Reading look like in the secondary classroom? In this workshop, participants will learn how to use theoretical models of reading to guide their instruction and support their struggling students. Participants will learn strategies for effectively teaching vocabulary, building background knowledge, and increasing comprehension.
