WDMESC: Formative Assessment and Feedback in Mathematics



In Hattie’s 2017 Visible Leaning Summary (linked below), “providing formative evaluation” had a 0.48 effect size and “feedback” had a 0.70 effect size.  Formative assessment with feedback is a powerful tool in the mathematics classroom and in this session we will investigate these topics.
