NWAESC(2095)---GPS: Engaging Students in Science Investigations in Grades 6-8
This live, online or in person, workshop will engage 6th - 8th grade science teachers in phenomena driven science investigations, a storyline learning model, and assessment task development and adaptation. The professional learning will focus on the teaching and learning of the AR K-12 Science Standards for grades 6-8. This is an introductory session that provides an opportunity for participation in grade-level unit development teams during the 2022-23 school year. The goal of each team will be to produce an exemplary curriculum unit for each grade level/course.
