NWAESC(2095)---Using the CCCs and SEPs to Engage Students in Sense Making
The crosscutting concepts are a critical dimension of the Arkansas K-12 Science Standards that help enhance student understanding of science phenomena as they engage in the science and engineering practices to make sense of their understanding of the science content. This session will focus on strategically using the CCCs and SEPs to strengthen instruction, engage students, and broaden access and inclusion of all students. Teachers will also discover how intentionally engaging students in specific CCCs and SEPs can strengthen the way you teach key topics in science.
