In this workshop, teachers will learn how to use art to introduce elementary students to elements of literature such as character, setting, and theme; to facilitate secondary students in developing an argument including identifying the implicit and explicit meaning of a text and citing evidence; and all students in discovering the joy of writing.  Little Rock teaching artist April Gentry-Sutterfield will facilitate teachers in prewriting, writing, and revising in engaging and even fun processes.
