GFESC Writing Legally Defensible and Effective IEPs

Using the 2017 Supreme Court decision in Endrew F. v. Douglas decision as the foundation, this presentation addresses the process of assuring each student's IEP is individualized, data-based, and written with progress monitoring in mind. The SCOTUS decision has far-reaching implications for IEP teams in that each child is entitled to a rigorous instructional program that is designed to  meet their unique circumstances.
