CRESC--GPS: Engaging Students in Science Investigations in Grades 6-8
This in person workshop will engage 6th - 8th grade science teachers in phenomena driven science investigations, the Gather, Reason, and Communicate (GRC) learning model, and assessment task development and adaptation. The professional learning will focus on the teaching and learning of the AR K-12 Science Standards for grades 6-8. This is an introductory session that provides an opportunity for participation in grade-level unit development teams during the 2022-23 school year. The goal of each team will be to produce an exemplary curriculum unit for each grade level/course.
