Day 4 of Critical Reading, Responding to Text, focuses on Critical Reading I standards and evidence-based best practices in adolescents' responses to text. Participants will learn how students' choice of text response leads to deeper comprehension. A variety of methods for student response, including handwriting and digital response will be explored, so that you can walk away with a solid plan for how to assess students' responses to text.
This PD is day 4. Participants must attend all 4 days.
