GFESC Secondary Transition Compliance Basics and Best Practices



this NEW three-hour professional learning opportunity incorporates all components of the Indicator 13 Checklist as a cross-reference tool with the Arkansas Individualized Education Program. The session will also allow attendees to consider best practices, as well as evidence-based practices in secondary transition. Resources to encourage the most effective transition plan that will take the student to positive post-school outcomes will be provided. Attendees should bring a copy of a transition plan (all identifying information excluded) to review through the session. This session is highly recommended for any professional who is a part of the secondary transition planning process. An electronic device is also recommended.
