DSC Top 10 List of Behavior Issues in Dispute Resolution
We will be reviewing case files on behavior from the Office of Special Education Dispute Resolution Section. We will consider tools schools can use to help staff to support student behavior. Concepts covered include collecting data, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), CIRCUIT referrals, Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDR), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and restraint and seclusion.
