AFESC-Fundamental Elements of Kindergarten Mathematics
It’s time to network with the team! This one-day session will allow educators to network on the critical standards and major work of the grade, focus on student engagement and instructional routines, accelerate learning due to gap instruction, design worthwhile math tasks, and examine student engagement through the lens of the Standards for Mathematical Practice. Grade level teams will plan rich mathematical tasks for critical skills and discuss solutions to grade level math challenges. Participants should bring a portable device, writing utensils, and comfortable attire to wear.
