In this one-day workshop, we will explore Section 504, RTI, and Special Education and then learn how they work together to ensure student success.  The day will provide an opportunity for interaction and participation in a lively discussion of the topics. These sessions incorporate high leverage practices and the Marzano research on the art and science of teaching. This workshop does not offer legal advice and any information contained within it is addressed in a general nature. Everyone in your school district needs this workshop! Key information about Section 504, RTI, and Special Education includes how these laws and programs work together in schools and how to create a collaborate work culture to support students through these programs. For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
