Part 4
During this ½ day session, participants will learn sentence level strategies that connect reading and writing. This session will focus on a single paragraph outline and using that outline. These strategies are embedded into the literacy block and can be implemented immediately to improve students’ writing and reading comprehension connection. The strategies used in this session are based on The Writing Revolution. This method breaks the writing process down into manageable chunks and then has students practice the chunks they need, repeatedly, while also learning content.
