This training is a follow-up from the morning session but is specifically for District 504 Coordinators. The Equity Assistance Center work session will allow for the 504 Coordinators to bring their policies, documentation, procedures and questions to take a deeper dive into what is happening within their districts and how to efficiently keep up with the required documentation and supports. 504 Coordinators are encouraged to bring some redacted sample Section 504 plans for the group to review and provide feedback on the clarity of the accommodations. Participants are also asked to bring specific questions to be addressed by the Equity Assistance Center team and best practices to share with colleagues throughout the DMESC area.
