This six (6) hour training is for those who chose to Prescribed Pathway for Proficiency that requires three (3) additional days, one being the option of Phonological Awareness or for those needing a refresher on Phonological Awareness instruction. This training will focus on phonological awareness by discussing the phonological and phonemic continuums, examining the role of phonemic awareness in skilled reading, and applying the knowledge of phonological awareness to instruction. Articulation of both consonants and phonemes are taught through the use of a sound wall.
