CRESC--Algebra: Seeing Structure, Creating Equations, & Algebraic Reasoning--VIRTUAL
This session is the first 2 days in a series based on the learning progressions focusing on expressions, equations, and inequalities in Algebra 1. Participants will engage in developing a deeper understanding of the standards related to the structure of expressions, creating equations, and reasoning with equations and inequalities. Participants will also explore how to build fluency from conceptual understanding within these standards, and how to make instructional decisions responsive to the needs of each student. The math content in this PD is aligned to the ACT Aspire, primarily the reporting categories of Expressions and Equations, Algebra, Modeling, and Justification and Explanation.
