Part 1 of 2. Green jobs represent one of the fastest growing and changing segments of the global economy. At the same time, today’s youth are seeking rewarding careers that help us move toward more sustainable lifestyles and greener economies. Some of the most exciting—and perhaps greenest jobs—involve forests.
Participants will each receive PLT’s Green Jobs: Exploring Forest Careers guide. This unit includes four hands-on, NGSS aligned, instructional activities to help youth research forestry careers, and practice managing and monitoring forest resources.
If you are not under contract with the Northeast Arkansas Education Cooperative or one of our 14 member districts, you will be responsible for all fees related to this workshop. The fee for this workshop is $25. Payment is expected the day of the training unless prior arrangements have been made.
