NEA – Identifying Essential Math Standards for 7-12 TEAMS
What do we want students to learn? Answering this question is the first step toward ensuring that all students learn at high levels. Agreement on what is essential helps teachers focus their time and expertise very specifically in the areas that will be most beneficial for student learning. Participants will actively engage in a process for identifying grade-level essential mathematics standards, unwrapping those standards, and understanding the role of essential standards in the RTI process.
