NWAESC(2095)---Shifting Small Group Instruction to Match the Science of Reading: A Follow-Up to K-2 RISE Training
In this two day training, K-2 teachers who have completed RISE Days 1-6, will dive into the "ins and outs" of small group instruction. We will analyze the essential assessments used in R.I.S.E. in order to simplify the process of forming groups based on deficit skills. Additionally, we will focus on the progression of skills students need to become proficient readers in grades K-2. Participants will walk away with practical plans to differentiate small group instruction to meet the individual needs of students.
