SWAEC- SOR Content Area Reading Strategies

This session provides strategies for supporting reading grades 3-6 math, science, and social studies texts. Participants will learn how to define content area reading, connect content learning to the theoretical models of reading, and apply strategies that increase engagement and learning in math, science, and social studies content. This session can be used as one of the sessions for Science of Reading Pathway D. TESS: 1A, 4A, 3D, 1F
