SCSC-Dispute Resolutions



Course description- we will be reviewing case files on behavior from the Office of Special Education Dispute Resolution Section.  We will consider tools schools can use to help staff to support student behavior. Concepts covered include collecting data, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), CIRCUIT referrals, multi-tier systems of support,  Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDR) and restraint and seclusion. TESS Components: 1c, 4a, 2d

For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
