ALTA-AR is excited to present the ed Experience Dyslexia Simulation. This is a learning disabilities simulation and is “designed to increase awareness of the difficulties and frustrations that people with dyslexia, a specific learning disability, encounter daily.” This experience provides valuable insight into working more effectively with students with dyslexia. It also promotes greater understanding of what it is like to live with dyslexia. Participants go through several stations that simulate the educational experiences of those with dyslexia. This workshop is excellent for parents, teachers, interventionists, counselors, and administrators. The presentation is compliments of ALTA-AR (Academic Language Therapy Association-Arkansas Chapter.)
