CRESC--Artists: Back in Time



This session will introduce two well-known historical artists with a brief history of their life, time, and artistic style. Participants will then choose one of the two artists to work as if they are that artist or an understudy of that artist. They will have access to similar types of materials/media that they will use to recreate an artwork of that artist. Greater appreciation for the artist's work, style, and method can be achieved along with the development of a greater appreciation for the products and materials to which they have access today. Participants will complete a replica work of art to take home.

NOTE--There will be an $8.00 fee to cover the costs of art supplies, copies of lesson plans, student handouts, and PowerPoint presentations. This fee will be paid directly to the presenter.
